Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam

Touch down at Mwalimu Nyerere International Airport, where your guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Relax, unwind, and recover from your journey before the adventure begins.

Day 2: Dar es Salaam → Selous Game Reserve

After breakfast, drive into the vast Selous Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling boat safari along the Rufiji River — hippos, crocodiles, and vibrant birdlife await.
Overnight: Selous Kinga Lodge | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner


Days 3 & 4: Full-Day Safaris in Selous

Spend two unforgettable days exploring Africa’s largest game reserve — bigger than Switzerland and Denmark combined. With lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wild dogs, and countless others, every drive reveals new wonders.
Overnight: Selous Kinga Lodge | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner


Day 5: Walking Safari & Game Drive

Rise early for a guided walking safari with an armed ranger. Discover birds, plants, and the smaller details of the wild on foot. Later, relax at the lodge or head out for another game drive.

Day 6: Selous → Mikumi National Park

Journey north with a packed lunch, enjoying game viewing en route to Mikumi. Nestled between dramatic mountain ranges, Mikumi offers prolific wildlife — elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope, tree-climbing lions, leopards, and dazzling birdlife.
Overnight: Angalia Tented Camp | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner


Day 7: Mikumi → Ruaha National Park

After breakfast, drive to Ruaha National Park. In the evening, explore this rugged wilderness of mountains, rivers, and plains. Ruaha is famed for its massive elephant population and diverse wildlife drawn to the Great Ruaha River.
Overnight: Ruaha Hilltop Lodge | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner


Days 8 & 9: Ruaha Safari Adventures

Two full days to immerse yourself in Ruaha’s 12,950 km² of savanna, woodlands, and riverine forests. Spot giraffes, kudus, baboons, and over 450 bird species. From your hillside lodge, enjoy sweeping views and wildlife right from your balcony.
Overnight: Ruaha Hilltop Lodge | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner


Day 10: Ruaha → Udzungwa Mountains

Depart early for Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Hike the Campsite 3 trail, passing waterfalls, butterflies, primates, and lush forest scenery.
Overnight: Hondo Hondo Udzungwa Forest Tented Camp | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner


Day 11: Udzungwa → Mikumi National Park

Return to Mikumi for a full day of game viewing. The Mkata floodplain offers open horizons and abundant wildlife — lions, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, impala, and colorful birds like hornbills and lilac-breasted rollers.
Overnight: Angalia Tented Camp | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner


Day 12: Mikumi → Dar es Salaam → Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Dar es Salaam for your onward flight. Carry home incredible memories, photos, and stories from Tanzania’s wild heart.
