Day 1: Moshi → Lake Manyara National Park

Travel from Moshi to Lake Manyara, where the Rift Valley escarpment rises dramatically behind the shimmering lake. After a picnic lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive — the best time to spot wildlife. Watch monkeys leap through lush forests, elephants resting in the shade, and herds of zebras, giraffes, buffalos, and hippos. Overnight at Kudu Lodge, Karatu.

Day 2: Lake Manyara → Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge

Journey through the historic Olduvai Gorge, an archaeological treasure where early human fossils were discovered. Continue into the Serengeti, arriving in time for an evening game drive across its legendary plains. Overnight at Serengeti Acacia Camp.

Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti Safari

Spend the day immersed in the Serengeti’s wilderness. With a picnic lunch in hand, explore the world’s greatest concentration of plains game — wildebeest, zebras, lions, and more. Return to Serengeti Acacia Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife. Spot rare black rhinos, powerful black-maned lions, colorful flamingos, and countless bird species. Other sightings may include leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and antelope. Overnight at Kudu Lodge, Karatu.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area → Moshi

Begin the day with a hike to the Elephant Cave and waterfall, then visit the Iraqw tribe cultural center in Karatu. Learn how the Iraqw people built underground settlements to protect their cattle from Maasai incursions. In the late afternoon, return to Moshi and Springlands Hotel.
