8 Days / 7 Nights Ngorongoro, Olmoti, Embakai, Lake Natron & Oldoinyo Lengai Adventure

Day 1: Into the Heart of Ngorongoro

Depart Moshi early and journey to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the day on a thrilling game drive, spotting lions, elephants, and rhinos against the backdrop of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picnic lunch en route. By evening, settle into Rhino Lodge for dinner and overnight.


Day 2: Trek to Olmoti Crater

After breakfast, drive to Nainokanoka village and hike to the enchanting Olmoti Crater. Discover its lush highlands and cascading streams before returning to camp for a cozy dinner and overnight stay at Nainokanoka Camp.


Day 3: Wilderness Trek to Bullati

Your adventure deepens as donkeys carry your gear while you trek 6–7 hours across pristine landscapes to Bullati Camp. Arrive to a warm meal and rest under the stars.


Day 4: Embakai Crater Magic

Continue trekking to the breathtaking Embakai Crater, a hidden gem with emerald forests and flamingo-filled lakes. After soaking in the views, walk onward to Nayobi Camp for dinner and overnight.


Day 5: Journey to Acacia Camp

Rise with the sun and trek 6–7 hours through rugged terrain to Acacia Camp. The evening brings dinner and storytelling by the fire, surrounded by the wild silence of Tanzania.


Day 6: Descent to Lake Natron

After breakfast, descend to the shimmering Lake Natron, famed for its surreal landscapes and flocks of flamingos. Transfer to Lengai View Camp for lunch, rest, and an afternoon visit to the lake. Dinner and overnight at camp.


Day 7: Maasai Culture & Midnight Ascent

Immerse yourself in Maasai traditions with a visit to a local boma—experience their dances, rituals, and vibrant culture. Return to camp for an early dinner, then prepare for the ultimate challenge: a night climb of Mount Oldoinyo Lengai, the “Mountain of God.” Reach the summit in time for a breathtaking sunrise.


Day 8: Sunrise Summit & Waterfall Wonders

Marvel at the sunrise from Oldoinyo Lengai’s peak, with sweeping views across the Rift Valley. Descend back to camp for a hearty breakfast and rest. In the afternoon, visit a nearby waterfall before transferring back to Moshi—your adventure complete, but your memories everlasting.
