🦁 Day 1: Arrival & Afternoon Safari

  • Morning (Departure from Dar es Salaam / Morogoro)

    • Pick-up at your hotel in Dar es Salaam around 6:00–7:00 AM.
    • Scenic drive to Mikumi National Park (approx. 5–6 hours).
    • Stop in Morogoro for hot lunch and refreshments.
  • Afternoon (First Game Drive)

    • Enter Mikumi National Park around 2:00–3:00 PM.
    • Begin your afternoon game drive across the Mkata floodplain, famous for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and buffalo.
    • Guides will help spot elusive predators and birdlife.
  • Evening (Dinner & Overnight)

    • Check into Mikumi Bandas, Vuma Hills Tented Camp, or mid-range lodge depending on preference.
    • Dinner served at the lodge.

  • Early Morning (Sunrise Game Drive)
